Privacy, in plain words.
Straight dealing covers your details too. Here's what we collect, why, and what happens to it. Last updated July 2026.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email if you give one, your suburb, what the job's about, your message, and any photos you attach. If you arrive at the form from the Home Straight Check, the answers you gave the check appear in the message box before you send, where you can read and edit them; nothing you told the check is sent until you choose to send the form.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry and arrange the work you asked about. That's the whole purpose. We don't run marketing lists, we don't send newsletters, and we won't contact you about anything other than the job you raised.
Who sees it
The people arranging and doing the work. We may share your enquiry with a suitable local provider to service your request; that's what "arranging the work" means in practice, and it's the only sharing we do. We don't sell, rent or trade enquiry details with anyone, full stop.
Photos you attach
Photos of the door help us understand the job before anyone drives out. They're stored securely, used only to understand the job, and expire automatically after 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
The site works without accounts or tracking cookies. The enquiry form carries a simple spam trap that catches automated scripts; it doesn't watch you, profile you or set anything, it just tells a person from a bot.
Asking about your details
If you'd like to know what we hold from an enquiry you made, or want it deleted, use the enquiry form and say so; we'll sort it and confirm.
